Educational objectives

  1. Define Lynch syndrome and its role in patient genetic predisposition for various cancers.
  2. Identify individuals at risk for Lynch syndrome as surveillance to reduce morbidity and mortality.
  3. Communicate with patients about screenings for Lynch syndrome and need for more frequent screening at younger ages than what is recommended for the general population.
